A food-loving dietitian, Courtney believes that healthy eating can – and should – be delicious.  In her work with the commission, she is involved in all things food and health: health research, recipe and snack development, consumer communications, health influencer education, and foodservice marketing.

Courtney is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Food and Culinary Professionals, and Dietitians in Business and Communications practice groups, among others.  She is also a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals.

Courtney holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington, and completed her undergraduate work in nutrition at Washington State University.
